Gorillaz
Gorillaz is a british band of diverses music styles, that is result of colaboration between many other musics. The band is composed by four members.
It was created 1998 and since 1999, despite Gorillaz introduced with other bands the trip rock: the fusion among trip hop with rock, their songs are influenced by electronic, hip hop, britanic pop and dubstep. The leader of Blur (british band of alternative rock), Damon Albarn, is who created the band.
I think Gorillaz is different because they are (or used to be more like) a virtual band. That is the special point of them. Here is the members:
2D: The vocal, keyboard and rhytimic electric guitar
Noodle: Solo electric guitar, keyboard and support vocal
Murdoc Niccals in the bass
Russel Hobbs: Batery, percussion and DJ of the band
Like a fan, I can assure that the music of this group has changed a lot. But it is still something good to listen. With the first album, "Gorillaz", they sold about 7 million of copies. Today this number, with all the other albums, is around 16 million, around the whole world.
People who like hip hop, rock, eletronic and peaceful songs might be interested by this band. I hope you liked it. Here is one of the most famous music videos of them for you all enjoy:

Murdoc Niccals, no baixo

(About the name and about what we are going to create here)
Hello! We are 'the backstagers'
I am here to explain a little bit about us...
Why the name:
Since we (girls of backstage) talk about entertainment in general (and not talking about social networks, come on!) Things like movies, series, books, music, photography and a lot of other things that move between these "tags" to universes so cool, is the appropriate name of "backstage" which basically means: what is right behind.
We'll talk here about artists, genres, synopses, indicated music, books and movies, always trying to cover a majority of styles. (We do not intend to cling to a single content / taste etc)
I don't know how other girls will treat other issues, however I am only writing this way (interacting to the reader) to introduce a little about what Ingrid and I (Giulia) are going to post since we start it.
We'll try to bring here things like biographies of bands, top 10 music of all of the genders, and a lot of stuff 'bout music.
We bloggers of backstage, we wish you a good read for you all...
Enjoy it!

O porque do nome:
