Long before that, in 1830, violent death happens in West End, Boston. And Norris Marshall, a medical student, with incredible ability with a scalpel is one of the main suspects in the murders. He and Rose Connolly, that after the death his sister, struggles to survive in the street of Boston with his niece.
But life is not generous with Rose Connolly, which also suffering the consequences from accusation, have to work to take care of little Margaret and to retreat of the husband of his sister, who want the baby anyway, even if not his son.
With the help from Henry, an old grumpy, which is the family from old resident of your home; Julia and him look for things again in the documents of the family and discover letters from O.W.H which help to discover the mystery of the death of Boston and discover the alliance with bones that were found in your garden.
Beyond the author interlace two different epochs in the narrative, her gives some anatomy lessons and presents one of the most popular U.S doctors, Oliver Wendell Holmes, that helps his friend Norris to prove his innocence.
The book cover is very beautiful and combines well with the atmosphere of the book, not to mention that you see right away the eulogy from the master of horror, Stephen King.
However this is not a book that you can read after the meal if you have weak stomach and aversion to blood and organs exposed.
Taking this detail you can gnaw your nails until find the real Ripper West End, which is not easy to find…

Com a ajuda de Henry, um velho mal- humorado, que é da família da antiga moradora de sua casa; Julia e ele remexem nos documentos da família e descobrem cartas de O.W.H que ajudam a resolver os mistérios das mortes de Boston e descobrir a relação com os ossos que foram encontrados em seu jardim.
Além da autora entrelaçar duas épocas diferentes na narrativa, ela dá algumas aulinhas de anatomia e nos apresenta um dos maiores médicos dos Estados Unidos, Oliver Wendell Holmes, que ajuda seu amigo Norris a provar sua inocência.
A capa do livro é muito bonita e combina bastante com a atmosfera do livro, sem contar que logo de cara você vê o elogio do mestre do terror, Stephen King.
Entretanto esse não é um livro que você pode ler após as refeições se você tiver estomago fraco e aversão a sangue e órgãos expostos.
Tirando esse detalhe você pode roer suas unhas até descobrir o verdadeiro Estripador de West End, que não é muito fácil de descobrir...
